Born in Maine in the late sixties, I spent most of my adolescent years in South East Asia. During the summer months, we would return to Maine, where I would work with a local landscape construction and maintenance company. I went on to receive my associates degree in horticulture at the University of New Hampshire's Thompson School of Applied Science. Upon graduating, I landed a job at Skillins Greenhouse. This experience taught me communication skills, an introduction to influential nursery and landscape professionals and a firm grasp of plant material. After four and half years, I embarked on a journey in the landscape construction/ installation business. Although competitive, I seemed to have survived for nineteen years. I presently reside in North Yarmouth, married and raising two girls.
